- Q: How can I view the status of my order?
- A: Go to the Customer Service, Account Information page. This page lists all your orders. Click the date of the order whose status you wish to view.
- Q: What are your shipping costs?
- A: Orders are shipped with "flat-rate" shipping. The shipping cost is:

- A: Orders are typically processed and shipped within 2 business days. Estimated delivery times are:

- A: While we make every effort to minimize the risk of contamination the cultures should be considered xenic unless specifically stated otherwise.
- Q: Do you follow proper scientific procedures and protocols?
- A: Yes; we follow standard scientific protocols for sterilization of all equipment, materials, and tools used to minimize the risk of cross-contamination and the introduction of external pathogens.
- Q: Are the cultures regularly inspected?
- A: Yes; we perform regular visual inspection (under a microscope) of all active cultures to ensure that they are the correct species and to check for the presence of any foreign species within the culture.
- Q: Can you provide specific instructions on how to culture the algae, extract the oils, and make BioDiesel?
- A: We provide basic culturing instructions and culturing conditions on our community site at http://algaedepot.org.
While we do provide links to books and information relating to the extraction and processing of the oils from the algae we do not provide any specific instruction or materials for the extraction of the oils or creating BioDiesel from the oils. A good introductory explanation on the process of making BioDiesel, along with the materials and equipment needed, can be found at http://www.dudadiesel.com/biodiesel.php - Q: Do you produce and/or distribute BioDiesel?
- A: No, we do not produce or distribute any form of Bio-Fuels or Bio-Fuel derivatives.
- Q: Is this algae safe for human consumption?
- A: Our cultures are provided for educational and research purposes only. These cultures have not been tested (or approved) by the FDA and, therefore, are not approved for human consumption.
