Designed for Ammonia & Nitrite Removal under high flow. Deep pore structure will allow development of low oxygen zones, which will help with control of nitrates. One MarinePure Sphere has the same surface area as 1,350 plastic 1.5″ bio-balls. Help improve the quality of your aquarium’s ecosystem with MarinePure™ porous bio-filtration substrate and reduce tank maintenance by ridding water of nitrites and ammonia. MarinePure™ Bio-Filter Media stimulates the growth of beneficial bacteria and reduces the amount of required live rock that’s often called for in a reef tank.
